The Pikkolo can be used from day one with no infant insert up to 24+ months. Seat narrows and widens with a cinch of a stretchy strap. Attached hood stuffs in front pocket when not being used. Dual adjustable buckles allow for easy nursing and straps also cross in back or backpack. It has an unstructured waist that sits higher without being bulky like other SSC belts. You can add the toddler belt at 25 lbs. for extended toddler wearing up to 40 lbs., but it’s not necessary. Can be used for front carry facing in or out, hip, or back carry.
This carrier was designed after a mei tai, so it is very soft and lightweight and can fold up very small to fit in bag. Hood shields sun and provides for more discreet nursing. Fits babies from 10-40 lbs. It can accommodate a petite mom to an XL dad. To be used for front or back carry. Not for newborn.
This is a front, hip, and back carrier for a natural ergonomic carrying position. Not for newborns, from roughly 12-37 lbs. Make sure baby can independently hold head up or around 5 months. This is a buckle carrier that uses one shoulder, much like a ring sling. The shoulder is made of a soft fleece, where the body of the carrier is a combination of twill and microfiber with no pockets or hood. It does however come in its own drawstring bag. Can’t find a waist size, but one review said it fit a plus size person well. This is a great toddler carrier for quick ups.
