The Short Cross Carry is a shorter variation of the Front Cross Carry and also great for popping baby in and out. Like FCC, this carry is great for leg straighteners because of the cross passes, and it's an easy carry to transfer a sleeping baby.

- Make sure that the cross passes are spread knee to knee on baby.
- Always put baby’s leg in the cross pass closest to your body first.
- If using a sling ring finish, make sure yo have enough length in the tails to maintain the tension in the ring. This keeps it from slipping. If you feel like your wrap is slipping, try doing a regular Short Cross Carry with a knot finish.
