The Semi-Front Wrap Cross Carry or Semi-FWCC is a short one-shouldered variation of FWCC, so it uses a smaller wrap size. Like FWCC, it is easy to adjust and nurse in, especially because it can be tied at the shoulder using a slipknot. The cross pass is helpful for leg-straightening babies and toddlers.

How to tie a slip-knot
What it looks like to tie a slip-knot from your point of view
- To keep the carry comfortable over the shoulder, make sure the fabric is spread evenly at your shoulder and across your back without any fabric bunching or twisting.
- Support baby under the bum with one arm while sliding the slipknot up to tighten. The slack can make it easier to move the slipknot up.
- You can tie with a regular square knot if you don't want to tie with a slipknot or if your fabric is too slippery to hold a slipknot well.
- If you prefer, you can spread the fabric over your shoulder for comfort.
